Chapter4 Connection Manager Starting Connection Manager
The Connection Dialogue window appears with the number of connections matching the filtering
criteria. If you select Get All or Get <n> connections, a nd then select the OK button, th e
connections will be listed in th e Li st of C on n ect io ns w in dow. Any event or al ar m f o r th ese
connections will now b e dynamically refresh e d .
The Connection Dialo g ue window appears with the number of connections as "0". In this case, the
user should select Get All and then select the OK button. Any event or alarm for all newly created
connections, with at least on e en dp o in t o n th e se lected node, will now be dyna m ic all y re fr esh ed .
Note If the newly added connections do not have a t least one endpoint on the selected node, then no alarms or
events will be refreshed for those co nn ec tions.
Configuring Connections
To configure a connection, complete the f o ll owing s t ep s:
Step 1 Log in to the CWM workst ation as a user with access pr ivi lege s that allow you to create co n ne cti ons
using Connection Manager.
Step 2 If necessary, start CWM and launch the desktop.
Step 3 Select Connection Ma na ger.
Step 4 Select a Connection Mode
Step 5 Select a connection type from th e l is t of c onnections.

are supported in Release 10 of the CWM Connection Manager:
