Configuring Signalling IE Forwarding
You enable signalling information element (IE) forwarding of the specified IE from the calling party to
the called party.
Note The default is to transfer all the information elements in the signalling message.
To configure interface signalling IE transfer, perform the following steps, beginning in global
configuration mode:

The following example shows how to disable signalling of all forwarded IEs on ATM interface0/0/0:
Switch(config)# interface atm 0/0/0
Switch(config-if)# no atm signalling ie forward all

Displaying the Interface Signalling IE Forwarding Configuration

To display the interface signalling IE forwarding configuration, use the following privileged EXEC
command:

Step1 Switch(config)# interface atm card/subcard/port
Switch(config-if)#
Selects the interface to be configured.
Step2 Switch(config-if)# atm signalling ie forward
{aal-info | all | bli-repeat-ind |
called-subaddress | calling-number |

Configures the signalling information element
forwarding.
Command Purpose
more system:running-config Displays the interface signalling IE
