Closing the Computer Cover

1Check all cable connections, especially those that might have come loose during your work. Fold cables out of the way so that they do not obstruct the computer cover.

2Ensure that no tools or extra parts (including screws) are left inside the computer.

3Close the computer cover by pivoting the cover down toward the back of the chassis and into position. Ensure that the release latch clicks into place (see the following figure).

NOTE: As you close the cover, hold the release latch to the left, in its open position, and then slide the release latch to the right to latch the cover to the chassis.
