Step 8. Attach Power Cord
1. Insert the power cord into the AC power connector on the back of the printer as shown.
2. Check the power switch at the front of the printer to confirm that it is in the Off (O) position.
3. Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet or power strip.
4. Switch the power switch to the On (I) position. After the printer warms up, the “Ready” message should be visible on the control panel’s LCD display and the Ready light will remain on.
