6. Close the rear cover, making sure that it latches securely.
The display should return to “Ready” and the printer will be ready to resume printing.
Duplex Unit Jam
A “Duplex Unit Jam” message indicates that paper has jammed in the optional duplex unit of the printer. Duplex Unit Jams can be cleared as follows:
1. Squeeze the latch at the upper left of the rear panel and pull towards you to open the rear cover of the printer.
If you are using a paper cassette extended past the Letter/A4 setting, remove the cassette before opening the rear cover.
