Response to Incoming Document With Errors on the HP FAX-700 and FAX-750

The following tables describe how the HP FAX-700 and FAX-750 determine how to respond to the tra document is received with errors. These tables apply only if the transmitter does not have Correction Mode).

The signals listed in the tables and their interpretation are as follows:

DMCF (Message Confirmation) – document received with good quality. Continue with n

DRTP (PIP if during voice request) – document received with marginal quality. Train next page. (RTP – retrain positive)

DRTN (Retrain Negative) – document received with unacceptable quality. Train at slo

DDCN (Disconnect) – Too many errors. Disconnect and send signal if the error condit after complete page is received
