Adjusting the brightness of the display

To save energy, or if you have trouble reading your display, then adjust the brightness of the display. Available settings range from 20–100. The factory default setting is 100.

Using the Embedded Web Server

1Type the scanner IP address or host name in the address field of your Web browser. If you do not know the IP address or host name of the scanner, then you can:

•View the information on the scanner control panel home screen, or in the TCP/IP section under the Networks/Ports menu.

•Print a network setup page or menu settings page, and then locate the information in the TCP/IP section.

2Click Settings > General Settings.

3In the Screen Brightness field, enter the brightness percentage you want for the display.

4Click Submit.

Using the scanner control panel

1From the home screen, navigate to:

> Settings > General Settings

2Touch the arrows until Screen Brightness appears, and then select a setting.

3Touch Submit.

2Find the product type you want to recycle, and then select your country or region from the list.

3Follow the instructions on the computer screen.

Note: Printer supplies and hardware not listed in the Lexmark collection program may be recycled through your local recycling center. Contact your local recycling center to determine the items they accept.
