Plotter interface (optional)

Overview

The plotter interface feature is optional. It allows you to send a document from a host workstation to the scanner, which is then immediately printed.

You also have the option to make copies from the scanner (copy mode). When the plotter interface is installed, the machine always defaults to plot mode. In order to make copies from the scanner (copy mode), the MAX 200 must be in copy mode. For detailed information on how to enter copy mode, refer to page 277.

Custom presets has three plotter setup features, they are:

Feature Function

Set default time to plot You can set the predetermined delay time it takes the machine to return to plot mode after making a copy (copy mode). Refer to page 183.

Set delay time to copy mode

You can set the predetermined delay time before copy mode is active, after completing a plotter job. Refer to page 185.

Folder Setup the fold default for the plot mode. Refer to page 187. To setup the fold parameters for each fold, refer to page 203.
