Chapter 10 Interface
"You must connect an external modem to use the auxiliary port.
The ZyWALL uses the auxiliary interface to dial out in two situations.
1You click the Connect icon on the ZyWALL Status screen.
2The load auxiliary interface must connect to satisfy
When the ZyWALL hangs up the call, it drops the Data Terminal Ready (DTR) signal and issues the command ATH.
Use the Auxiliary screen to configure the ZyWALL’s auxiliary interface. Click Network > Interface > Auxiliary to open it. (See also Section 43.11 on page 699 for more on using the auxiliary interface for
