NFS File Server

The file server tests provide the following basic operations:

•Check server availability by logging-in to the server or with a partial log-in if a username and password are required for log-in but have not been provided by the user.

•The following operations are optional. If any of these operations is requested, the user must enter the full path name to the file (or directory) on the server:

•Log in to the server.

•Read from an existing file.

•Write to, read from, and delete a file.

Test Setup

The first file server setup screen requests a name or address as well as login information needed to access the server.
