Once you have all of the components of your entire ServSwitch Multi system installed, you will need to use the UICD to enable the dual-monitor setup. Here’s how to do so:

1.If you haven’t yet added the dual-monitor computer to the Switch’s on-screen configuration records, follow the instructions for doing so in Section 9.3.1.A.

If you have previously entered the computer into the on-screen configuration, follow the instructions for editing that computer’s record in Section 9.3.1.B.

In either case, when you reach the “Dual Video” feature, press the space bar to enable it.

2.Enter the Administrator-Controls Menu (see Section 9.4) and select the “System Configuration” option. Page down and highlight the “Dual Monitor Support Card Address” field (see Section 9.4.3.H). Enter the address of the UUIC that the secondary monitor is attached to. Until you enter a value in this field, dual- monitor support is still disabled regardless of what you did in step 1.
