Drives

About the Drives

The mini tower computer supports a combination of the following devices:

•Two internal 3.5-inch SATA hard drives

•Two external 5.25-inch drives

•One optional floppy drive or an optional media card reader

The desktop computer supports a combination of the following devices:

•One internal 3.5-inch SATA hard drive

•One external 5.25-inch drive

•One optional floppy drive or an optional media card reader

Recommended Drive Cable Connections

•Connect SATA hard drives to connectors labeled "SATA0" and "SATA1" on the system board.

•Connect a SATA optical drive to the connector labeled "SATA2" on the system board.

Connecting Drive Cables

When you install a drive, you connect two cables, the power cable and the data cable to the back of the drive.
