4.5Disassembly and Assembly of Ink Supply Mechanism

4.5.1 C472_SUB-B Board

1.Remove the L Side Cover. (p.163)

2.Disconnect the seven FFCs (ink cartridge) and the two FFCs (Main Board/ Maintenance Tank) on the C472_SUB-B Board found at the left side of I/H Frame. (See Figure 4-62)

3.Disconnect the connector of the Release Sensor (I/H Lever).

4.Remove the four screws (M3⋅6) and remove the C472_SUB-B Board.

CAUTION When connecting an FFC, take great care not to insert it aslant. (Inserting aslant can cause a short circuit of signals, thus resulting

in broken circuit elements.)
