Disabling the Power-On Password

Before you begin:

To disable the power-on password, complete the following steps:

1. Remove the disk drive bracket assembly from the system unit an it on top of the power supply. Any adapters installed in slot 5 temporarily removed in order to remove the disk drive bracket. “Removing Adapters” on page 4-80 for adapter removal instructions.
