6. If you have a Model 240, locate jumper J28 using the following illustration.
7. To disable the power-on password, move the jumper on J28 to the two rightmost
pins.
8. Reinstall any adapters you have removed.
Note: To set the power-on password, the jumper must be in the default position
(on the two leftmost pins). You must also install all other options (such
as internal drives, memory, adapters) if you are planning to install them
now. After you have installed these options and replaced the covers of
your system unit, start the System Management Services to set the
power-on password. For more information on the System Management
Services, see Chapter 3, “System Management Services” on page 3-1.
