2.2.4 System Management
The GRF currently supports the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Version 1, which provides a mechanism for remote query or setting operational parameters for the device. Media cards collect network statistics, which can be reported to network management packages via the Router Manager on the IP Switch Control Board. In addition to collection statistics and other management information, the SNMP agent is also capable of issuing traps.
