Request Address Information

The complete DEFINITY ECS translations require precutover administration, which, in turn, requires a customer address scheme, specifically the ATM addresses for theTN2305/TN2306 ATM interface circuit pack(s). The address of the EPN is automatically read by the local ATM switch, using the address registration procedure defined in Integrated Local Management Interface (ILMI). If field technicians do not have the login permissions required to obtain the EPN’s ATM address(es) directly from the ATM switch(es), the customer or ATM switch installer must provide that information.
