Emergency telephone does not function

If the emergency telephone is connected to the system, use the following procedure:

1Check the power LED on the ASM 8 to check that the ASM 8 is receiving power.

2Check that the emergency telephone has dial tone.

3Check the external line and emergency telephone connections.

4To avoid damage to the emergency telephone, connect the telephone directly to the external line and check for dial tone.

5Replace the MSC.
