Connecti n g the external music source

Follow these steps to connect the external music source to the BCM1000 jack.

1Connect the miniatu re jack of the music sour ce outpu t to the music -on-hol d input on the MSC.

Refer t o Figure 68.

2Adjust the volume of the music sourc e to a comforta ble le vel by activating Background Music

and adjusting the volume at the music sour ce.

External music source programmin g

You must enable Music for callers on Hold and for Background Music through programming.

Refer to the Business C ommunications Manager Programming Operations Guide f or more details .
