Initializing the h ard disk (single-disk system, BCM 3.0)

The BCM10 00 is normally initialized at the factory . However , if yo u have to replace the hard drive

in a single-disk BCM1000, you must re-initialize the Business Communications Manager.

After you replace the har d disk and the syste m has booted up, perfor m the initi alization as follows:

1Enter the terminal emulation program, as described in “Finding the configuration menus” on

page 126.

The Platform Initialization Menu appears. Refer to Figure 84.

2Enter 1 (Initializ e Menu) and press <ENTER>.
