28.4 SNMP Traps

The HomeSafe will send traps to the SNMP manager when any one of the following events occurs:

Table 28-2 SNMP Traps

TRAP #	TRAP NAME	DESCRIPTION
1	coldStart (defined in RFC-1215)	A trap is sent after booting (power on).
2	warmStart (defined in RFC-1215)	A trap is sent after booting (software reboot).
3	linkDown (defined in RFC-1215)	A trap is sent with the port number when any of the links
		are down. See the following table.
4	linkUp (defined in RFC-1215)	A trap is sent with the port number.
5	authenticationFailure (defined in	A trap is sent to the manager when receiving any SNMP
	RFC-1215)	gets or sets requirements with wrong community
		(password).
6	whyReboot (defined in ZYXEL-	A trap is sent with the reason of restart before rebooting
	MIB)	when the system is going to restart (warm start).
6a	For intentional reboot :	A trap is sent with the message "System reboot by user!" if
		reboot is done intentionally, (for example, download new
		files, CI command "sys reboot", etc.).

The port number is its interface index under the interface group.
