Using the 7400A menu system
On the 7400A, you select communications settings us ing the controls on the front
panel of the device. An LCD displays the configurat ion menus. You use the
NEXT/NO and BACK buttons to navigate through the menus and the ENTER/
YES button to select values.
Powering up the 7400A
When you power up the 7400A, the POWER TEST and DATA LEDs light up, and
the 7400A data module displays the HOME screen on the LCD. The figure below
represents a typical home screen. Dashes indicate a lead that is co nnected, ovals
a lead that is not.
