4.Change the ASG information:

Access Sub-Group Name: Change the name of the ASG. The ASG name is for identifi- cation purposes only. It does not provide any security function. Provide a name that is easy to remember the systems that are part of the ASG.

The name can contain any alphanumeric characters, symbols or spaces (up to 31). At each level of the security topology, each ASG name must be unique. If the name is not unique at its level, an error message informs you of this when you click OK.

Access Sub-Group Client System: Select the new system to be the client. If the Configu- rator is running on a system connected to more than one fabric, the client list contains only those systems that can be accessed by the original client of the ASG.

Number of indices reserved for this Access Sub-Group: Select the new number of 'indi- ces' to reserve for the client system of the new ASG. This number reflects the number of subsequent 'child' ASGs that you can subsequently create on the new client's system.

See page 107 for examples.

5.Click OK in the Edit Access Sub-Group dialog box to save your changes.
