User Assignments - New or Edit User

Last Name field

Last name of the user.

First Name field

First name of the user.

Phone Name Display field

Displays when you call another station. The length of this string, and its location, is dependent on the system settings. See “Station Ranges Tab” on page 6-1.

E-mail field

The contacts e-mail address. This information will be programmed in the UM4730 Voice Mail system mailbox, if applicable.

Phone Type field (Hospitality Only)

Select either the administration or guest room telephone type.

Room Class field (Hospitality Only)

Enter the room class (0 through 14). Each class label can be changed by selecting the specific class, clicking Browse, and entering the new label in the Edit Room Class dialog box Description field.

Organization field

Describes the organization of the user. The organization is defined in “Organization section” on page 4-7.

LMG field (NEAX IPX UMG Only)

Use the LMG drop-down menu to specify the Local Module Group to which you are assigning the signaling server. (This step is only available on the NEAX IPX UMG.)

Annex field (Hospitality Only)

Enter the annex location. Each annex label can be changed by selecting the specific annex, clicking Browse, and entering the new label in the Edit Annex dialog box Description field.

Floor field (Hospitality Only)

Select the floor number and elevation. The floor number is selected by using the field’s scroll arrows. The elevation choices are Ground and Underground.
