IM Project (or just Project) A project is the set of data that is associated with a specific installation. It is assumed that an installation corresponds to a single customer. Therefore, each customer/installation should have its own project.

A project is not stored in a single file as you might expect (as it is in Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel). As data is collected, the information is stored in the Microsoft Desktop Engine (MSDE) which is a server-based database. The management of this information will require some features within the application to access, remove, and backup this information.

IM Project Template This is the database containing all information for a particular installation. It includes all templates, all customer users, and related information to the installation.
