13-20 Productivity Features

Creating or Editing a Key Template

Step 1 To create a new Key Template, click New. Figure 13-13and Figure 13-14display.

Enter the template's name in the Name field or edit it, if necessary.

Use the Priority of Answering Call drop-down menu to specify whether incoming calls should be answered based on Line Selection, Dial/Automatic/Manual Intercom lines, or a combination.

Use the For Speaker button (SPK) drop-down menu to specify that the SPK button selects the prime line. (Currently the only available option.)

Use the For Answering button (ANS) drop-down menu to specify whether the ANS button accepts the Prime Line, Incoming Line, or Ringing Line preference.

Use the For Originating button (ORG) drop-down menu to specify whether the ORG button accepts the Prime Line or Idle Line preference, or a combination of the two.

Use the Message Waiting Display drop-down menu to specify whether a message waiting indicator displays on the top or bottom line of a station's LCD display.

Use the Line Key Pattern drop-down menu to specify the number and type of key patterns assigned to the station.

Use the Pattern drop-down menu to specify one of 16 key patterns the station will use.

Use the Don’t Display Page Scroll Key [>>>] [PG] check box to choose whether to display a Page Scroll Key [>>>] [PG] on the display.
