Terminal/Equipment Security

One-Time Password field

The one-time password is a disposable password that can be used only one time. The password becomes invalid when the time period indicated in the One-Time Password Expires field is exceeded. If the system is initialized or the effective timer expired, the password will need to be reassigned. Passwords must be 4 to 10 digits in length, consisting of the characters 0 through 9, the * sign, or the # sign.

Expires field

The options available are Never, 1 hour, 8 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, 5 days, 6 days, or 7 days.

Terminal Encryption field

The options available are Partial Data Encryption or Full Data Encryption.

Terminal Authentication field

The options available are Disabled or Enabled.
