5-4 Hardware Information

User ID and Password fields (optional)

The User ID and Password fields can be used if authentication is required.

The following options can only be used after the software has been successfully installed and the system is online.

Test button

Clicking the Test button performs a verification of the system connection selected. If the test connection fails, Figure 5-2displays.

	Setup IP... button
	Clicking the Setup IP ... button allows the user to configure the IP
	address, subnet mask, default gateway, speed, and duplex mode, if
	applicable. The user identification/password can also be created. See
	Figure 5-3(SV7000 example) and Figure 5-4(IPX example).
	If the Backup IP/Password Settings option is selected, Installation Manager will
NOTE	back up the SV7000 after configuring the IP address and password.
	For the IPX, the Backup IP/Password Setting is not available. Instead, there is a
	Total PIMs (Physical +Virtual) field.
	The IPX Installation Manager will automatically perform a System Backup and then
	reset the Voice Server, after the IP address and password are configured.
