10-4 Circuit Card Assignments

If you are configuring a trunk card refer to the following descriptions:

NOTE

• Name - Device name

•Default Gateway Address - IP address of your network’s gateway router

•DRS Address - IP address of the Device Registration Server

•IP Address - Device IP address. Each media gateway must have a separate IP address

•Network Mask - Device IP network mask

Step 12 Click Zoom Out to return to the large-scale system view.

Step 13 (Optional) Repeat Steps 5-12 for any additional circuit cards you wish to assign.

The Chassis LEN numbers (see Figure 10-4) are based on the information provided by the user when the “Create Project Wizard” on page 3-7is performed. Specifically, the number of ports selected in the System Maximum Capacity field (see Figure 3-10, “Create Project Wizard - Project Name and Type - NEAX IPX and NEAX IPX DM” on page 3-7).
