Feature operation
To add a new party to an established call on a Meridian 1 proprietary
telephone, follow these steps:

Step Action
1Press Conference.
The first party is on hold and you receive a dial tone.
2Dial the number of the new party.
When the new party answers, you may talk privately.
3Press Conference to include all parties in the call.
4To add more parties to the conference (up to six, including yourself),
repeat steps 1-3.

If you make a mistake while dialing or receive a busy signal, press Rls
to disconnect. To return to the call, press the key beside the fast flashing
indicator.

telephone, follow these steps:

Step Action
1Flash the switchhook.
You hear three beeps followed by dial tone. The first party is on hold.
2Dial the telephone number of the person to be included in your call.
When the call is answered, you may talk privately with the new party.
3Flash the switchhook to include all parties in the call.
4To add more parties to the conference (up to six, including yourself),
repeat steps 1-3.
If you make a mistake while dialing or receive a busy signal, flash
the switchhook to return to the original caller.
