DNS COMMANDS

•If there is no domain list, the domain name specified with the ip domain-namecommand is used. If there is a domain list, the default domain name is not used.

Example

This example adds two domain names to the current list and then displays the list.

Console(config)#ip domain-list sample.com.jp Console(config)#ip domain-list sample.com.uk Console(config)#end

This command specifies the address of one or more domain name servers to use for name-to-address resolution. Use the no form to remove a name server from this list.
