
Removal and Installation Pocedues
Line Fuse and Line Cod
1.Assemble equipment and locate modules to be removed: You will need a flat1bladed screwdriver to do this procedure. Locate the line fuse and line cord in the locator diagram, xternal Modules, Figure 613.
2.Orient instrument: Set the AWG2005 with the bottom down on the work surface and the back facing you. If you are servicing the line fuse, do the next step; if you are servicing the line cord, skip to step 4.
3.Remove line fuse: Find the fuse cap on the rear panel. See Figure616. Remove the fuse cap by turning it counter1clockwise using a flat1bladed screwdriver, and remove the line fuse. Reverse the procedure to rein1 stall.
4.Remove line cord: Find the line cord on the rear cover. See Figure616. Remove the line1cord retaining clamp by first unplugging the line cord from the line cord receptacle (1). Grasp both the line cord and the retaining clamp and rotate it 90 degrees counter1clockwise (2). Pull the line cord and clamp away to complete the removal (3). Reverse the procedure to reinstall.
5.Reinstallation: Do steps 3 and 4 in reverse order to reinstall the line cord, and then the line fuse.
