2.Enable the function generator output: Turn on the function generator output.
3.Check external ADD operation: a. Check Autostep Step 4:
Push the AWG2005 MANUAL TRIER button, and check that the step changes to Step 4 on the MODE menu.
Check that the DMM reading is in the range from 4.750 to 5.2506V.
4.Disable function generator output: Turn the function generator output off.
5.End procedure: Keep the test connections and instrument settings for the next check.

Equipment Required: Two 506Ω coaxial cables, a function generator, and a digital multimeter (DMM).
Prerequisites: The AWG2005 meets the prerequisites listed on page 477.
Procedure:
1.Use test hookup and control settings from previous check.
2.Check internal ADD operation: a. Check Autostep Step 5:

Check that the DMM reading is in the range from 4.750 to 5.2506V.
