Performance Tests

￿Push SETUP￿Waveform Sequence, if necessary, to select a waveform file for CH1. Waveform Sequence toggles between the CH1 files (upper list) and the CH2 files (lower list).

￿Highlight the MODE_￿DV.SEQ file using the general purpose knob.

￿Push ENTER to select the file.

3.Tur￿ ￿￿ t￿e AWG2005 CH1 ￿ut￿ut: Push the CH1 button so that the LED above the CH1 output connector is on.

4.C￿eck wavef￿r￿ adva￿ce: Repeatedly push the AWG2005 M￿NU￿L TRIGGER button, and check that the oscilloscope displays a continuous sine wave that switches between two frequencies at each manual trig8 ger.

5.E￿d ￿r￿cedure: Disconnect the oscilloscope.

Equipment Required: Two 507Ω coaxial cables and an oscilloscope.

Prerequisites: The AWG2005 meets the prerequisites listed on page 487.

Procedure:

￿Connect the AWG2005 CH1 output through a coaxial cable to the oscilloscope CH1 vertical input.

￿Connect the AWG2005 rear8panel CH1 MARKER OUT output through a coaxial cable to the oscilloscope CH2 vertical input (see Figure 488). The CH1 MARKER OUT signal will serve as an external trigger signal for the oscilloscope.
