DESTINATION IS AN IVR SYSTEM (lnteradive Voice Response)

This attribute is assigned to a maiIbax that transfers the caller to tbe IVR System extension number. Not applicable to Tbshiba VP Syskms.

This feature is designed to be used with spec%c applications. An aample is recording long meetings so other employees may J&ten at a convenient time. When this attibute is assigned, a “Quick Message” (IntraMessaging feature) can not be sent while listening to the greeting.

After the q is entered, the prompt says, Yirfening ispoured To back up, press two, to go ahead pressfour.” If the caller does nothing after entering the q key, the prompt says, “Li.Qening is pawed. To co&we, prets stm, to backup, press two, to go o.hed,pnxs four” If the mailba does not have this attribute and a caller presses q , the Xxhiba VP System offers to record a “Quick Message.” The amount of time the Toshba VP System moves forward and is&ward is defimed in System Parameters % and 97. The default to move forward is l20 seconds, and to move‘ backwa& 60 seconds. Refer to the F&we Dex+zkwz manual -

CUSTOMEATION.

NEVER DO ASAP MESSAGE WAITING

When a message is left in a mailbox, the Toshiba VP System atte;hpts to call and give notification. The default is set to call as soon as possible, unless the message

was left under a ‘ring-no-answef condition. With this attribute, Message Waiting calls ‘5” minutes after the meSSageis left instead of as soon as possible. ‘Y’ is defined in each mailbox by using the OFFIONS feature.

MAY RE-RECORD AFIER CALL MESSAGE

With this attribute assigned to the COS of the mailbox called, after leaving~a message for a no-answer or busy extension, or a mailbox with the greeting ON, callers may re-record the entire message before sending it. This feature does not allow e@tipg portions of a message.

-While recording, the caller must stop speaking for five seconds or enter a q to activate this feature. The prompt says, “73rank you for your masuge. To m-record your mesage, press stm, to send rhe mewge, presspound. w

A q deletes the entire message and the prompt says, ‘Recording... (beep) ” and begins re-recording the message.

A q sends the message. The prompt says, “Messagesent. Pleasedial another a-tension number, or dial zero for asistaace. ”
