nField Format Specifications

The number of DTh4F digits expected for each element in the call record is specified in one of several ways:

lA fmed number of digits can be entered directly into the DTh4FINT Table field description.

l

lThe length of an element can refer to the System karneter Table, which controls the field lengths for the various DTMFINT field types.

lThe length of a field can be declared to be of variable length with, or without, a terminating digit that defmes the end of a variable length field.

The syntax for DTMFINF field formats are as follows The field format definition for each call record must include the parentheses.

Field length is fmed according to the value specified in the field definition.

Defines a f=ed field length which can have a value from 1 to 16.

Specifies the DTMF digit(s) used to fill a ftxed length definition. Acceptable values are 0 to 9, A to D, l , or R. The fill DTMF digit defmes the DTMF digit the Toshiba VP System expects the PBX to use to pad a field that would otherwise not contain enough digits.

Specifies whether the fill DT?vfF digit is leading Q or trailing (f). If a fill digit is required, this defines whether it will be inserted before (leading) or after (trailing) the significant field digits

Specifies that the field length is fmed according to the System Parameter for that field type:

lSystem Parameter 176 - FIXED LENGTH FOR SOURCE FIELDS

lSystem Parameter 177 - FIXJZDLENGTH FOR DEST FIELDS

-System Parameter 178 - FIXED LENGTH FOR TRUNK FIELDS

lSystem Parameter 179 - FIXED LENGTH FOR MISC FIELDS
