usage:

Enables callers to hear a mailbox greeting instead of silence while waiting in queue.

Record music or a message for callers to listen to while waiting to be

connected to the extension.

Considerations:

Enter the number of the maibx containing the greeting.

While this greeting is playing the X&i&VP System checks eveq second to determine if the caller has moved up to the first position. If the caller is first, the lbshiba VP System interrupts the greeting and proxeds to call the extension. If the caller is not first, the Toshiba VP system plays the greeting to the end. After the greeting has finished, the Toshiba VP System check to determine if the wait

time Iimit has eIapsed (defined in Index 9). If not, the Ibshiba VP System plays silence for the remaining wait time. If no Queue

22 MAXIMUM MESSAGE LENGTH

DeflnNon:	Gives the ability to define the	length of messages and greetings
	recorded from specific mailboxes. The length caxk%e set as required
	for the mailbox application without affecting the recording length of
	other mailboxes. The maximum recording length for a mailbax is
	defied in System Parameter 32
Usage:	Applications may be required	to provide long greetings for
	employees or callers, or to shorten the recording time for uxtain

Record conference calls and make them available to specified employees or callers.

Configure the length of messages from 1 to 180 minutes.

This index only affects the length of a greeting or any type of message when being recorded from within a mailbox. It does not affect the length of a message sent from another mailbox or received from a caller.

•Total disk storage of the q-stem is a limiting factor.

•If this field is not defined, System Parameter 32 is the default maximum message length.
