Calls to a non-existent extension may be handled as followsz

lA company has extensions only in the 200 and 300 series. Error greetings are recorded in the CUSTOM PROMPT Table for first digits 1,5,6,7,8 and 9. If callers

dial an extension beginning with 1,5,6,X g, or 9 they are informed,

m Blocked Extensions

Calls to a blocked extension may be handled as follows:

. A caller dials an extension that is not allowed to accept calls from the InWATS lines. Call blocking is set up in the INFORMATION Table for the port. The caller is advised: “77& ex~en.Go~cannot be reached from this nun&z Please h&cup and call (415) Xxx-XXXX lo reach this ert&‘on ”

lA.t a hospital, calls to patient rooms are blocked between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. Callers

to these extensions are informed: “So as not to disturb ourparients, patient rooms cannot be called krween I1 p.m and 8 am P/ease call back after 8 am If this is an tmfqency, dial zerofor assistance. ”

nMWN calls to extensions without DTMF

When MWN	places a call	to a mailbox with Attribute 57	- PWY	CUSTOM	MESSAGE
WAXING	h’OI’XIC+XION	PROMPT, the normal prompt	‘Thue	are x messagesfor (nome)”

is followed by the Custom MWN Prompt. The greeting might say something like “To hen ro your messagespleare hang up & dial *XTand enter your mnilbox ”
