The maximum message length is 3 hours. The length of messages and greetings

is controlled by the INFORMATION Table. If a value is not defied in the ’ INFORMATION Table, the default is the value defined for this parameter.

This parameter is used-for system-wide control. If “1” is selected, the extension is not called and the greeting is played. If =2” is selected, the extension is called before the greeting is played.

It is recommended that “1” be used for most applications. If an unqvai.lable extension should be called before the greeting is played, assign Attribute 6 - CALL EXTENSION FIRST BEFORE PLAYING GREETING, to the COS for those xnaimxes.
