Defining the Caché ODBC DSN (CCMS)

To access the Contact Center Manager Server database, you must define a connection to the server and define the Caché ODBC DSN.

Prerequisites

Make sure the Intersystems Caché port 1972 is open in the client computer firewall.

Procedure steps

Step Action

1From the Windows Start menu, choose Administrative Tools.

2Launch the Data Source (ODBC) application.

3Click the System DSN tab.

4Click Add.

5Select Intersystems ODBC.

6Click Finish.

7In Name, enter the required name of the DSN.

8In Description, enter a description of the DSN.

9In Host, enter the IP address or computer name of the Contact Center Manager Server.

10In Port, confirm the port number is 1972.

11In Cache Namespace, enter CCMS_STAT.

12In the User Name box, type sysadmin.

13In the Password box, type your reporting password.

14Click Test Connection to test the connection.

15Click OK.

Installing the Caché JDBC Driver

Contact Center Release 6.0/6.1 also supports JDBC connectivity to the CCMS database.
