Modifying custom formulas

To update previously created custom formulas, modify custom formulas.

Procedure steps

Step Action

1Log on to the Configuration component.

2On the system tree in the Configuration component, double-click the server containing the formula to delete.

3Select the Formulas folder.

4In the Available Formulas column, double-click the name of the formula to edit.

5To add a new variable, in the Formula Editor, click an operator (/,*,,+).

6In the Variables list, select a new variable.

7To delete an element from the formula, in the Formula box, select the element.

8Press Delete.

9Click Save.

Deleting a custom formula

Delete formulas you no longer require.

If you delete a formula that you use in a real-time display, the column in the display appears blank.

1Log on to the Configuration component.

2On the system tree, in the Configuration component, double-click the server containing the formula to delete.

3Select the Formulas folder.

4In the table, select the formula to delete.

5Press Delete.

6In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
