The CPU assesses a fan motor failure and reports it to the video controller, if the FAN LOCK DETECTION signals (/FAN1S, /FAN2S, /FAN3S, /FAN4S, /FAN5S) stay "L" for about 1.5 sec- onds or more for 3 times at 5 seconds intervals while the fan motors are ON.
