Viewing VM FEX Properties

Viewing VM FEX Properties

Before You Begin

The server must be powered on, or the properties will not display.

A supported Virtual Interface Card (VIC) must be installed in the chassis and the server must be powered on.

Procedure

 

Command or Action

Step 1

Server# scope chassis

Enters the chassis command mode.

Step 2

Server /chassis # scope adapter index

Enters the command mode for the adapter card at the

 

 

PCI slot number specified by index.

 

 

Note

The server must be powered on before you can

 

 

 

view or change adapter settings.

Step 3

Server /chassis/adapter # show vmfex

 

[detail]

Displays the general VM FEX properties. For field descriptions, see General Properties Settings, on page 111.

Step 4

Server /chassis/adapter # scope vmfex Enters the command mode for the specified VM FEX
