3.Remove the adhesive security tape on the backside of the rails. Using the screws for your rack type (round holes or square holes) and a #2 Phillips screwdriver and ensuring that the flange on each rail points toward each other to form a shelf, secure one rail to each side of the rack in your chosen rack

location. Secure both the front and back of each rail to the rack, then tighten all 8 screws. The narrow end of each rail goes to the rear of the rack. The rails extend to fit a variety of rack depths. Each rail requires 2 EIA units of rack

space (

in Figure 4-8).
