Each
The voice mail system calls the subscriber each time a new message
comes in, regardless of when it last tried to call the sub scriber. This
method speeds up the del ivery of new messages, but a ls o increases
system dial out time. This means that the dial-out ports may be tied
up more frequently. If the dial-out ports are cons ta nt ly bu sy, the voice
mail system may have to h old dial-out reque sts in a queue un til a
dial-out port is free. This could cause de livery delays.
Batch
Any message that comes in since th e last attempted delivery is
added to the batch and delivered at the ne xt specified time inter val.
A 30-minute delivery time is suitable for mos t installations. Using
batch message delivery lessens the time the voice mail system ties
up voice ports dialing out to deliver mes s a ges.
Urgent
Urgent message delivery works lik e Each messag e delivery, except
the voice mail system only calls you when an urgent message comes
in. The system won’t call when new messages that are not urgent are
waiting.
