snmp-server enable traps

This command enables the Authentication Flag.

Default enabled

Format snmp-server enable traps

no snmp-server enable traps

This command disables the Authentication Flag.

Format no snmp-server enable traps

snmp-server enable traps bcaststorm

This command enables the broadcast storm trap. When enabled, broadcast storm traps are sent

only if the broadcast storm recovery mode setting associated with the port is enabled .

This command disables the broadcast storm trap. When enabled, broadcast storm traps are sent

only if the broadcast storm recovery mode setting associated with the port is enabled .

This command enables Link Up/Down traps for the entire switch. When enabled, link traps are

sent only if the Link Trap flag setting associated with the port is enabled (see ‘snmp trap link-

status’ command).
