Static

The value of the corresponding instance was added by the system

 

or a user when a static MAC filter was defined. It cannot be

 

relearned.

Learned

The value of the corresponding instance was learned by observ-

 

ing the source MAC addresses of incoming traffic, and is cur-

 

rently in use.

Management

The value of the corresponding instance (system MAC address) is

 

also the value of an existing instance of dot1dStaticAddress. It is

 

identified with interface 0/1 and is currently used when enabling

 

VLANs for routing.

Self

The value of the corresponding instance is the address of one of

 

the switch’s physical interfaces (the system’s own MAC address).

GMRP Learned

The value of the corresponding was learned via GMRP and

 

applies to Multicast.

Other

The value of the corresponding instance does not fall into one of

 

the other categories.

show msglog

This command displays the message log maintained by the switch. The message log contains system trace information.

The trap log contains a maximum of 256 entries that wrap.

The message that has been logged.

Note: Message log information is not retained across a switch reset.

show running-config

This command is used to display the current setting of different protocol packages supported on switch. This command displays only those parameters, the values of which differ from default value. The output is displayed in the script format, which can be used to configure another switch with same configuration.
