CLI Command Logging
This section provides a detailed explanation of the CLI Command Logging commands.

logging cli-command

This command enables the CLI command Logging feature.The Command Logging component
enables the software to log all Command Line Interface (CLI) commands issued on the system.

Configuration Scripting
Configuration Scripting allows the user to generate text-formatted script files representing the
current configuration. These configuration script files can be uploaded to a PC and edited,
downloaded to the system and applied to the system. Configuration scripts can be applied to one or
more switches with no/minor modifications.
Use the show running-config command (See “show running-config” on page 66.) to capture the
running configuration into a script. Use the copy command (See “copy” on page 62. ) to transfer
the configuration script to/from the switch.
Note:
The file extension must be “.scr”.
A maximum of ten scripts are allowed on the switch.
The combined size of all script files on the switch shall not exceed 500 KB.
