This displays the additional packages that are incorporated into

 

this system, such as BGP-4 or Multicast.

show interface

This command displays a summary of statistics for a specific port or a count of all CPU traffic based upon the argument.

Format

show interface {<slot/port> switchport}

The display parameters, when the argument is ' <slot/port>', is as follows :

Packets Received Without Error The total number of packets (including broadcast pack- ets and multicast packets) received by the processor.

Packets Received With Error The number of inbound packets that contained errors pre- venting them from being deliverable to a higher-layer protocol.

Broadcast Packets Received The total number of packets received that were directed to the broadcast address. Note that this does not include multicast packets.

Packets Transmitted Without Error The total number of packets transmitted out of the interface.
