Link Speed Data Rate

Is an integer representing the physical link data rate of the speci-

 

fied interface. This is measured in Megabits per second (Mbps).

MAC Address

Is the burned in physical address of the specified interface. The

 

format is 6 two-digit hexadecimal numbers that are separated by

 

colons.

Encapsulation Type

Is the encapsulation type for the specified interface. The types

 

are: Ethernet or SNAP.

show ip interface brief

This command displays summary information about IP configuration settings for all ports in the router. This command takes no options.

Privileged EXEC and User EXEC

Slot/Port

Valid slot and port number separated by forward slashes.

IP Address

The IP address of the routing interface in 32-bit dotted decimal

 

format.

IP Mask

The IP mask of the routing interface in 32-bit dotted decimal for-

 

mat.

Netdir Bcast

Indicates if IP forwards net-directed broadcasts on this interface.

 

Possible values are Enable or Disable.

MultiCast Fwd

Indicates the multicast forwarding administrative mode on the

 

interface. Possible values are Enable or Disable.

In Access Mode

Indicates the inbound access list checking administrative mode

 

on this interface. Possible values are Enable or Disable.

Out Access Mode

Indicates the outbound access list checking administrative mode

 

on this interface. Possible values are Enable or Disable.

show ip route

This command displays the entire route table. This commands takes no options.
